Time to replace upper Management?

As we come into the era of Social Media, where even a blind cat can see how it will and is changing the way we do business today and certainly in the future. Upper Management is worried about their bottom lines that continue to fall, and wonder what tomorrow has for them. Instead of being able to see and react to the way communication is being done, and how to take advantage of that, fear has a stronghold on them. Fear of Shareholders, losing their job, being wrong,spending money not available. Ahhhh note the word spending money, really the word for it is investing.

The mind that has the desire to get ahead in business, I would always say needs to have the proper "mindset & attitude", however this is a time period in history where understanding deeper how human behavior is will bring a new crop of millionaires to the surface over the next couple of years. You see there is a percentage of companies that will take advantage of Social Media to get ahead, while most keep a toe in the water, and can say "oh yes we were just about to jump in", while others fall by the wayside. Which will you be?
