How to sell your home

Today’s Real Estate market is so different from past, with the technology that is out there and the ways in which you can find your niche buyer has dramatically changed. With the use of Medias now, an agent that has an audience can get the property out to the masses like never before.

So how is this a benefit to you? Really it used to be you got the most activity on your property in the first 4-6 weeks, with the use of the internet and search engines, this has changed showing the most activity is the first 2 weeks.
The most important thing here is to make sure when you are ready to come on the market, you are truly ready, and get it out to the most potential buyers immediately. This can be achieved in many ways 1) the Multiple Listing Service (almost 70% of sales are co-broked (sold by an agent at another company) 2) The Medias 3) Internet sites that have the greatest hit activity (for a list of them just ask).

The second part of being ready is making sure your home is in “show shape” right away. Drive up to your home as if it is your first time and see it with a different eye. Clear all the clutter, paint that front door, remove the children’s toys, mow that front lawn. Make sure the entry you use is the best one, and that the buyer is coming into a light, bright, open area.
