I know what I want, but I am not willing to admit that I am not willing to do what is necessary to achieve that.
Is the above a true statement? If so, focus hard on what your true objective is, and then build the steps you are willing to do. We are not overly concerned on what you are not willing to do, or if you are aware of what you are not willing to do that is ok, now put it to the side and change your focus to what you are.
There are many things you are willing to do, but as human animals, we for some very silly reason focus on our short falls. Can you imagine if you do not get the "key" to life until you are old and sitting in a chair in a home.... and you are reflecting back to "I wish".
That is what the average human being does, is that you? I also feel we all for some reason feel "oh I am different" isn't that funny, we are all the same, yet we feel we are different.
What is you opened yourself up to the possibility for a minute that you are not different, that you are just like everyone else? And what if you said ok, if I am what is it that I need to do differently to improve my life?
Now if you are not able to do that, it is because your subconscious is stronger than your mind right now, are you ok with that? Be aware of how you operate and how the universe works and you can have the life people dream of, but for some reason only a tiny portion of the population can do this. Do you have the ability to be strong enough to face your subconscious and have the life the universe is so very willing to give you?
